Master mixologist Andrew Winters of Long Beach establishment James Republic creates signature drinks on a regular basis, making use of the freshest, seasonal ingredients, perfectly encapsulating the vibe of the season. One of Mr. Winters’ signature cocktails is the Smoking Cocktail, a delightful concoction of whisky, mescal and fernet, with a hint of rosemary.
Smoking Cocktail
- 1 oz Mescal
- 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 1 oz Chartreuse
- ½ oz Fernet Branca
- 2 oz Rye Whiskey
Pour liquids into a mixing vessel filled with ice and stir until mixed and chilled. Light a sprig of Rosemary until it smolders and place under the serving glass to infuse the rosemary for the most amazing, woodsy flavor.
