Starting this fall, you can see hit Broadway shows without leaving Southern California!

Broadway at the Beach–presented by Magicspace Entertainment and the American Theater Guild–features four touring shows with top talent and all the excitement of the Great White Way. Check out this lineup!

THE CHER SHOW

SEPT. 15

Broadway at the Beach begins with The Cher Show, playing at the Terrace Theater on September 15 at 1PM. This Tony Award-winning musical features 35 of Cher’s smash hit songs culled from six decades of fabulous stardom, tracking her rise from pop to global star. Throughout the show, three actresses play Cher, representing the star’s eras over time, from getting her start to modern icon.

COME FROM AWAY

NOV. 19

The second show in the series, Come From Away tells the true story of a small town in Newfoundland that took in thousands of stranded travelers after the events of September 11, 2001. This musical brings to life the stories of people coming together under challenging circumstances to represent the best in all of us. Come From Away plays at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach on November 19 at 7:30PM.

THE BOOK OF MORMON

FEB. 4-5

The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including one for Best Musical, is the third show in the Broadway at the Beach series. The show follows the adventures of a pair of mismatched missionaries on their journey across the world to spread the Good Word. Loaded with irreverent comedy, The Book of Mormon was written by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, also the creators of South Park. The Book of Mormon plays at the Terrace Theater in Long Beach on February 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m.

CHAMPIONS OF MAGIC

MAY 1-2

Champions of Magic closes out the Broadway at the Beach series with a dazzling magic show for the whole family. This all-new production features thrilling, mind-bending illusions and grand scale magic, all presented by a team of four talented illusionists in a high-energy, interactive show sure to dazzle and delight. See Champions of Magic at the Terrace Theater on May 1 and 2 at 7:30PM.

THE EXPERIENCE

Come early to experience the pre-show party on the Terrace Theater Plaza, featuring specialty cocktails at the bars, food trucks serving tasty treats, DJs, and photo ops! Watch the dazzling dancing fountains, snap a selfie at the step-and-repeat station, and mingle with your fellow Broadway at the Beach patrons. During show intermissions, visit the first floor concession area for snacks, sodas, and a full bar.
