AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC

From 11AM to 2PM, the Aquarium of the Pacific (100 Aquarium Way) will host its Father’s Day BBQ, with a menu including smoked beef brisket, grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, loaded baked potato salad, and other delectable sides. BOATHOUSE ON THE BAY

Enjoy a decadent Father’s Day Brunch Buffet at Boathouse on the Bay (190 N Marina Dr) from 9AM to 2PM. Indoor and outdoor patio seating are available, and the buffet features a made-to-order omelet station, carving station, and chilled seafood station. To reserve your spot, use the reservations page to put down a $25 per person deposit, which will be credited toward the final bill. With views of Alamitos Bay, a bountiful buffet, and a good time surrounded by loved ones, this is sure to be a Father’s Day Dad will savor.

CAFE SEVILLA

Celebrate an “Old Fashioned Father’s Day” at Cafe Sevilla (140 Pine Ave.) from 11AM. to 2PM as you treat Dad to brunch and bottomless mimosas. CITY CRUISES

Create some wonderful memories with Dad whenever it suits him best. City Cruises (Rainbow Harbor, Dock 6A) is offering both brunch and dinner cruises around the harbor for Father’s Day. Brunch allows you to indulge in bottomless mimosas and domestic beer as well as chef-prepared menus. DISTRICT WINE

District Wine is a cozy wine bar and lounge in the historic Lafayette Building in the East Village Arts District. A dark interior with a mix of tables, booths, and upholstered leather armchairs makes for an intimate space where people can enjoy boutique wines, tapas, and live music. Say cheers to Dad with a beer tasting on Father’s Day at District Wine (144 Linden Ave), available all day. FUEGO AT THE MAYA

Take Dad to this Latin-infused, contemporary cool restaurant and lounge that not only offers unique waterfront dining but also stunning open air views of the harbor, Queen Mary and Long Beach skyline. Fuego’s (700 Queensway Dr.) Father's Day weekend offers specialty brunches both Saturday and Sunday–11AM to 4PM–with menu items like pork ribs, grilled New York steak, and key lime tart, as well as its specialty cocktail: “Classic Dad,” made with whiskey, Mexican cola, and lime. HOLEY GRAIL DONUTS

In celebration of Father’s Day, Holey Grail Donuts (4803 2nd St) will offer a free Old Spyce donut with purchase for Dads with kids in tow or who show a photo of their child, small or grown. Old Spyce donut is their take on the iconic cologne, blending flavors of local oranges and cinnamon, rolled in sugar to finish. Holey Grail is a sustainable business that started in Hawai’i making dough with taro and frying it in coconut oil. Their Belmont Shore shop also serves coffee, matcha, and other refreshing beverages.

LONG BEACH ANTIQUE MARKET

Bring your dad and explore a treasure trove of antiques, collectibles, and vintage items at the Long Beach Antique Market (4901 E Conant St). The market is held the third Sunday of every month at Long Beach Veterans Memorial Stadium, including Father’s Day this year. Whether your dad is a history buff, a fan of classic posters, vintage telephones, or just loves discovering hidden gems, the market makes a great place to find a perfect Father’s Day gift. And, with food and beer vendors as well as free parking, it’s easy to make a day of it.

MUSEUM OF LATIN AMERICAN ART

On Father’s Day, the Museum of Latin American Art (628 Alamitos Ave) will host an art workshop in the museum’s sculpture garden focusing on figurative watercolor painting led by guest artist Polaris Castillo. Through this event, MOLAA welcomes gay, bisexual, and transgender fathers and their families, as well as straight dads with LGBTQ children to create art in a safe and inclusive space. PARKERS’ LIGHTHOUSE

Does your dad love steak? The perfect meal awaits him at Parkers’ Lighthouse (435 Shoreline Village Dr), which will offer a special 12 oz. New York strip steak served with broccoli rabe and potato gratin all day on Father’s Day. Add a glass of cabernet sauvignon or his favorite scotch to thank your father for all he’s done as a dad.

SHANNON’S CORNER

At the corner of Pine Avenue and Broadway is Shannon’s Corner (201 Pine Ave), home to The Carvery, Secret Island, and Shannon’s on Pine, each of which is offering goodies for Dad on Father’s Day. At The Carvery, bring dad to brunch or dinner and enjoy all-day happy hour items. Plus, fathers receive a complimentary dessert! Reservations are available online. Secret Island tiki bar will be serving a “Papa Don Old Fashioned” cocktail, a rummy twist on a traditional Old Fashioned, along with live music and island cuisine.
