Long Beach Dispensaries
Long Beach’s cannabis dispensaries are alive and growing, providing products for those with physical and emotional needs as well as those looking to refocus or relax. Distinguished by clean environs and knowledgeable staff, they serve as community gathering spots and fonts for wellness, including nourishing one’s skin or calming one’s pet.
CATALYST CANNABIS
Catalyst Cannabis specializes in top-shelf products, high-end concentrates, THC and CBD products, and its Fuss & Friends daily wellness tincture line designed for pets. Catalyst has four Long Beach locations–Downtown, Belmont Shore, Eastside and North Long Beach–visit their website for details. Giving back to the community is an important pillar at Catalyst, so much so that it has its own Catalyst Cares team to coordinate clothing and blood drives, volunteer work, etc.
HAVEN
With a significant number of its customers new to cannabis, Haven (404 Redondo Ave./1248 Long Beach Blvd.) puts an emphasis on education. Its associates are eager to explain the distinctions between products as well as the health benefits of such items as cannabinoid CBD. Haven puts such an emphasis on customer service and education that its cannabis consultants make themselves available by text and phone as well as in-store.
LONG BEACH GREEN ROOM
With more than 100 different strains as well as high quality edibles, extracts, tinctures and topicals, a large selection of CBD products, plus daily deals and weekly events, it’s no wonder Long Beach Green Room (1735 E. 7th St.) has long been a popular destination. Of course, another reason is that it has the distinction of being the first licensed medicinal and recreational dispensary in the city.
THE CIRCLE
Given the sheer impressive size of its facility, The Circle (1755 Ximeno Ave) is often referred to as a cannabis superstore. Founded in 2019, The Circle–the largest recreational dispensary not only in Long Beach but Los Angeles County–features a wide range of recreational cannabis and cannabis-infused products. They also offer a line of veterinarian-formulated CBD oil designed for pets and its own in-house brand, Hex.
THE STATION
With a curated menu designed for medical and recreational consumers, The Station (1957 Pacific Ave.) also offers daily specials as well as safe access to cannabis with its own ATM on property and onsite parking. The Station arguably has the most fitting name and unique/ironic location since it is located in a former police substation, its lobby featuring an eye-catching mural painted by a local artist.
KING’S CREW
When it opened five years ago, King’s Crew’s (5630 Pacific Coast Hwy) management said it aspired to be the city’s nicest cannabis store, one offering a high-end experience. In fact, they said they selected the shop’s name because they wanted customers to feel like they were “treated like royalty.” You can see that commitment in its ultraclean interior and exterior as well as multiple daily specials that save customers up to 50% on select items.
