PARKERS’ LIGHTHOUSE

In celebration of Mother’s Day, Queensview Steakhouse at Parkers' Lighthouse (435 Shoreline Village Dr) will be hosting a Jazz Brunch from 10AM to 3PM on Sunday, May 12. The meal includes a choice of one entree (with options like Lobster Benedict and Stuffed French Toast), accompanied by an appetizer and dessert buffet. Live jazz music will be performed by solo pianist Ed Czach. Also on Sunday, May 12, Parkers' Lighthouse will be offering a Mother's Day Buffet from 9AM to 3PM, including seafood, salads, carving stations and an assortment of baked goods. Fuego (700 Queensway Dr.), the contemporary, Latin-infused restaurant and lounge, sits next to the Queen Mary and its outdoor patio dining area offers one of the most unique and stunning views of Downtown Long Beach. THE ART THEATRE

The Art Theatre (2025 E 4th St) on 4th Street’s Retro Row will host a screening of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, and Lily James. Held on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12, at 2:30 p.m., this matinee screening will include an $8 mimosa special for theatergoers.

SHIRLEY’S TEMPLE

Shirley’s Temple (2420 E 28th St, Signal Hill) is celebrating sober and expecting moms this Mother’s Day with a Moms & Mocktails Brunch. The event will include special brunch menu items, charcuterie making, games, and a raffle with prizes. JADE ON THE WATER

A new restaurant located inside the arts and events space Compound, Union will offer Mother’s Day brunch and dinner menus for seatings on Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12.
