St. Patrick's Day Fun in Long Beach

There’s a lot to do in Long Beach on St. Patrick’s Day. Green beer? Sure, but there are also deals and discounts, parties, and a pub crawl, just to name a few. Check out some of the fun to be had!

THE AULD DUBLINER

What better place to celebrate than at Long Beach’s traditional Irish pub, The Auld Dubliner (71 S Pine Ave)? Their St. Patrick’s weekend celebration starts March 14 with Teeling Whiskey samples and a DJ spinning Irish vinyl at 10PM, all-day rugby watch party on March 15, traditional Irish music live at 4PM on March 16 along with a midnight toast welcoming St. Patrick’s Day, and music by Bell Boys starting at 1PM to closing time on March 17. Enjoy a Guinness-themed special menu all weekend long, including a Guinness BBQ burger, a steak, mushroom, and Guinness pie, Guinness ice cream float, and a Guinness flight.

ALMOST ST. PATRICK’S DAY

On Sunday, March 16, Bixby Knolls will bring back its annual Almost St. Patrick’s Day event, featuring a tour of local bars and restaurants offering holiday specials. Hop onto the free shuttle to visit participating locations and enjoy food and drink specials and live entertainment along the way. Specials include the Shamrock Nachos at Lola’s Mexican Cuisine, special St. Paddy’s cocktails at Beachwood Brewing & Distilling, and free green LB stickers at Long Beach Clothing Co. For the full list of locations and offerings, visit our event page.

BEACHWOOD BREWING & DISTILLING

Available for one weekend only, enjoy five specialty St. Patrick’s Day cocktails at Beachwood Brewing & Distilling (3630 Atlantic Ave) in Bixby Knolls! Although this location will be closed on the holiday, they are getting into the “spirit” of St. Paddy’s with these festive creations: the Knick Knack (a rum cocktail), the Paddywhack (vodka and aged rum), and Give a Dog a Bone (a pine of Bulldog stout with a shot of cream liqueur).
