WEST COAST SWEAT

West Coast Sweat (6324 E. Pacific Coast Hwy) is located in the Marina Pacifica shopping center and offers Bikram hot yoga, hot pilates, and other classes focused on building strength and mobility. Drop in for a single class, purchase a package of 10 classes, or sign up for a membership for year-round access to the studio. Virtual classes and memberships are also available to keep up your practice from home or on the road.

YOGALUTION MOVEMENT & WELLNESS

Yogalution Movement & Wellness (244 Redondo Ave) is a donation-based yoga studio, offering traditional yoga, breathwork, and meditation classes to nurture peace, grounding, and mindfulness. All classes in the schedule are available without a reservation at a suggested donation of $20. Yogalution also offers Yoga on the Bluff, a daily yoga class at 11AM on the grass overlooking the ocean. Evening sessions at 6PM on weekdays are offered seasonally from April to October.

OUTSIDE THE STUDIO

Compound (1395 Coronado Ave) is a community gathering space that hosts art exhibits, creative workshops, markets, and dining at its restaurant, Union. The venue also offers occasional yoga sessions through its Wellness Collective series and weekly breathwork and sound bath sessions with practitioner Sabrina Rollo. The Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden (Earl Warren Dr), on the campus of Cal State Long Beach, offers restorative and relaxing zen yoga classes on Wednesdays and Fridays. Each session concludes with a guided meditation.
