Altar Society Brewing Co. is located in the Entertainment District in Downtown Long Beach. Built in 1903 and originally a masonic temple, our brew pub will take you back in time with a prohibition era warmth of dark walnut wood tables, wainscoting and custom chandeliers. Grab a beer and take a seat at a bar top that overlooks our stainless-steel brew kettles coming from the basement up through the first floor, where it's not uncommon to see our award-winning brewer making new IPA's, lagers, ales, pilsners, stouts+ seltzers. We have curated a unique menu of pizza, sliders, sandwiches+ salads that caters to a communal, energetic setting. And just in case you're not into beer, you can come by for an Altar Society Coffee and a pastry, sit in our cafe and enjoy the historic property turned Altar Society.
