nonprofit, public benefit corporation supporting public parks, programs & facilities in Long Beach.
Partners of Parks, a non-profit, focuses on youth, teens and seniors through support to LB Parks, Recreation and Marine. Program support includes a Youth Scholarship Program for low income families; fundraising for the LB Municipal Band; funding for Movies in the Parks; is the fiscal agent for 45 different park-related organizations; processes requests for memorials (the Lone Sailor and Rosie the Riveter) and works with the City Council members to facilitate programs in the parks.
