Belmont Shore Christmas Parade

Immerse yourself in the enchantment of the holiday season at the annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade in the Belmont Shore neighborhood. This festive extravaganza draws in a crowd of approximately 50,000 spectators and takes a full three hours to showcase all of the impressive entries and floats. With 100 entries featuring over a dozen local marching bands, floats crafted by Long Beach businesses and associations, appearances by local personalities and dignitaries, festive costumes, vintage cars, alongside plenty of elves and Santa Claus, this parade is a hometown favorite signaling the start of the holiday season for many locals.

The parade is on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Streets will close at 5:00 p.m. allowing spectators to begin setting up their chairs and blankets along 2nd Street for a front row seat to the parade.

The theme for the 2024 Belmont Shore Christmas Parade is "A Holiday Tradition.”

The parade route is along East Second Street, heading east from Livingston Avenue to Bayshore Avenue.
