Girls Day Festival

Celebrate Girls Day with activities and fun at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden on the campus of California State University, Long Beach. This day will be a fun event for the whole family with crafts, and activities provided as well.

Girl's Day, or Hinamatsuri, is celebrated on March 3 in Japan. Traditionally, families decorate by setting up an altar with ornamental dolls dressed in court attire from the Heian period. It is also a day to pray for young girls and their future happiness.
