Opening Reception Brunch at Compound

Compound is announcing Puerperal, a solo exhibition by Los Angeles-based artist Fay Ray, which will be on view from February 15 to August 31, 2025, and will feature Ray’s iconic two and three dimensional monochromatic sculptures as well as newly commissioned work throughout Compound's 14,000-square-foot creative complex.

The exhibition's title draws from a Latin term meaning "of or relating to, or occurring during or after childbirth" and explores “postpartum aesthetics,” —a visual and material language tied to the profound experiences of motherhood, birthing, and transformation.
