Winter Solstice in the Park

Come celebrate Winter Solstice at Willow Springs Park! Neighbor-to-Neighbor invites you to pause, reflect, rejuvenate, and connect with your community.

Willow Walk: From 9:30 to 10:30 AM, join us for a guided tour of Willow Springs. This walk around the park aims to provide attendees a space for introspection and peace. Come to learn about and rejuvenate with the flora of the park. Spots are limited, please register here.

Sound Bath: From 10:45 to 11: 45 AM, Kali SoundBaths will host a sound bath with guided meditation. During this experience, you will encounter the soothing power of sound that will help you relax and restore yourself with nature. Please register here. If you'd like, please bring something comfortable to sit on.

Solstice: At noon, enjoy a solstice viewing at the highest point in Long Beach!

Ukulele Performance: From 12:15 to 1:30 PM, the Long Beach Ukulele Club will perform to celebrate the solstice. Their concert will be accompanied by crafts brought to you by the Friends of Willow Springs Park. Registration is not required for this event. Stop by to enjoy live music, nature, and your neighbors’ company. If you'd like, please bring something comfortable to sit on.
