Summer Brassfest 2016, At The Brass Lamp

Music, Food, Drinks, FUNDRAISER!

The Brass Lamp is hosting a week-long music festival to raise funds for the long awaited store front sign! A creative way to bring music, community, and a good cause together! Proceeds from all of the wristbands sold will go towards The Brass Lamp sign!

From August 1st - 7th, starting at 6pm, we will have a ton of music, fun, and festivities. Vendors, such as Shady Grove, Uinta Brewery, Ballast Point, Romeo Chocolates, and more will join in!

Brassfest will have Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rock, Acoustic, and other performers providing a little bit of flavor to everyone’s tastes! Supporters and musicians include, Chad Bishop, Thrillhaus Jazz, Tubby Boots, Dana Sparrow, The Moderns, well-known DJ’s and many more!

The Brass Lamp, the first book bar on the West Coast has been open now for nine months. Since its grand opening, the downtown LB community has welcomed its feel-good vibe, books, music scene, coffee culture, craft beer, wine, and famous smoked gouda grilled cheese with a huge and warm embrace! Just as this start-up business successfully rallied the community through their initial Kickstarter campaign, they are doing the same by bringing the Long Beach musicians, business owners, and locals together to finally finish its first summer with a long-awaited sign! Although the lack of signage has made for a cool and unique speakeasy feel, it’s time to propel The Brass Lamp onto The Promenade with a really awesome store-front sign!
