International City Theatre
Boasting five plays per season at the Beverly O’Neill Theater, International City Theatre (ICT) aims to entertain, educate, inspire, and provoke thoughtful dialogue through live theater. Performing an array of classic to contemporary selections each season, from comedies to dramas to musicals. Long Beach Opera
Recognized time and again for premiering new, rare, and avant-garde operas, Long Beach Opera often performs at the Terrace Theater but has been known to eschew the traditional stage for unconventional venues. It also happens to be the oldest operating opera company in the Los Angeles and Orange County region. Long Beach Symphony
From Pops concerts featuring the tunes of greats like Queen and Aretha Franklin, to classical music and holiday concerts, the Long Beach Symphony offers something for all audiences. Under the leadership of Conductor Eckart Preu, Long Beach’s very own Symphony performs its classical series in the Terrace Theater and hosts Pops concerts in the Long Beach Arena. Musica Angelica
To hear Musica Angelica is to experience music as it was written and performed centuries ago. Under the direction of renowned Music Director and organist Martin Haselböck, the orchestra specializes in Baroque to early classical performances, with each of its artists playing period or replica instruments. Musical Theatre West
Experience the talent, glamor, and excitement of Broadway musicals right here in Long Beach with Musical Theatre West. The performing arts group specializes in full-blown musical productions, from the classics like “Damn Yankees” to modern hits like “Grease,” and often features well-known actors from stage and screen alongside outstanding new talent. Musical Theatre West performs at California State University, Long Beach’s Carpenter Performing Arts Center. Long Beach Camerata Singers
Under the direction of Grammy Award-winning Artistic Director James K. Bass, the Long Beach Camerata Singers not only offer their own full season – they also often perform alongside the Long Beach Symphony and Musica Angelica. Featuring a blend of professional singers and highly-skilled volunteers, the chorus is dedicated to enriching the lives of local communities and performers through a broad repertoire, innovative programming and arts education. P3 Theatre Company
Through a passionate platform inspired by the arts, P3 Theatre Company provides an enriching and educational experience to actors, production staff, and theatergoing audiences. Typically producing up to 4 shows per season, P3 Theatre's performances range from new musicals and comedies such as Disenchanted! to contemporary classics like Steel Magnolias. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, P3 Theatre Company is a volunteer-based and publicly supported organization that aims to give back by providing artistic performances to all members of the community through their diverse lineup of shows.
